FEVER

Fever has been emceeing and writing lyrics for around seven years now but has been listening to underground dance music since 1991 about the time that the word "jungle" was coined for what's now known to us all as drum and bass. He has emceed abroad as well as on home soil and has also been on a number of pirate radio stations including Rinse f.m. 100.3 (London -1999), Cyndicut f.m. 97.8 (South east) and now on Ruud awakening 104.3fm He has also emceed on two internet stations, UK Rumble and Pyrotechnic . When he first began listening and just toying with lyrics he was based in Northampton and was therefore influenced by the northern underground scene with the likes of Bassman, Spyda, Palmer the Charmer, Jubilee, Panther, Hooligan, Juiceman and Dread. He then moved down to Kent in 1996 and began small venues in Canterbury with a DJ/Promoter called Dice.

Fever has worked for Ruud nation (Dungeons East London), Jungle ravers (Bachaus, Kingston), MC Convention (Stratford Rex),Drum and Bass Zone, One Nation (Stratford Rex, Bagleys,Temple) Sidewinder/Helter Skelter (The Sanctuary), Innovation (Rex), Best of British (Bagleys, Rex), Heat/Pure Science( Atomics, Hastings Pier, Airlock), Revolution (Club Space), Nu Dimension Crew(Cue Club), Hysteria (Bristol, Starlight 2001, Hastings Pier, The Sanctuary), Breakology (Cue Club, Lydd, Leas Hall, M20), High on Life (Casino Rooms, Circus Tavern), Matrix/Battle of the MC's (Casino Rooms), Raw (Club M) Lifeline Promotions Germany (Dreamland, Hamburg, Docklands). These are the main venues and promotions that are still around and running tings, but he has also worked in venues in Canterbury, Cambridge, Leicester, Southend, Ipswich, Dover, Folkestone, Northampton and many others.

Fevers new goals are to keep doing what I'm doing, get some more bookings overseas. Fever has also formed a Kru called Aftershock with J Swif, Damaja, K Eye, Major & Blacka who have been working on some Hip Hop projects aswell as staying true to their jungle roots.
